Homemade Hamburger Stew
(Canned in advance or recipe below)*
Prep. Time: 45 min./ serves 4-6
1 lb. extra lean stew meat or hamburger (browned)
2 quarts water
½ cup cracked brown rice
1 lg. onion chopped
2 stalks celery diced
1 can corn
4 lg. diced carrots
2 large sliced potatoes
1 tsp. salt and ½ t. pepper
Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
